Berkeley City Council Puts Politics Ahead of People

On March 10th 2026, Iranian Americans learned that the Berkeley Peace and Justice Commission had approved an anti-war proposal regarding Iran the night before and that the Berkeley City Council planned to vote on it on that day. Many Iranian Americans expressed frustration at not being included in the discussion and came to the council meeting to speak. This video highlights how out of touch Berkeley City Council members are, disregarding the voices of many.
